Free TV Channels Available in Our Area

The list below shows currently available, free, 'over-the-air' TV channels at our location. All signals are included, whether analog, digital, standard or high definition. This list does not include satellite or cable channels, or any kind of 'pay' channels. The channels listed are exclusively terrestrial, free-to-air signals that can be received with an outdoor antenna, and a regular TV with a digital converter box. Extra channels are sometimes available, depending on weather conditions, but only dependable signals are listed here. Note that the 'dashed' channel numbers are only accessible with a converter box or DTV capable TV.

* The digital signal from Fox 2 seemed to disappear on June 12 2009. Fox 2 had to move their digital signal from UHF 58 to VHF 7 on the transition day, and will be running on their 'standby transmitter' until installation of their new broadcast aerial and main transmitter is completed in August 2009. The signal is quite weak in our area right now but should improve significantly when the new transmitter is turned on.

*** OMNI 2 should not be confused with MyTV20 in Detroit. Both broadcasters used the same analog frequency of channel 20. On February 17th 2009, MyTV20 ceased scheduled programming and broadcast looped video informing viewers to use the digital signal on 20-1. On March 4th 2009, the analog signal from MyTV20 Detroit was turned off, leaving only the Canadian OMNI 2 available on that analog channel.
